Doch trotz der erkannten Notwendigkeit unterlaufen viele Banken immer noch entscheidende Fehler, die ihre Innovationskraft bremsen. Dies ist jedoch nicht der Fall. Die Bundesanstalt f\u00fcr Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht (BaFin) hat in ihren j\u00fcngsten <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bafin.de\/SharedDocs\/Veroeffentlichungen\/DE\/Fachartikel\/2024\/fa_bj_2402_Interview_Kosche_Steinbrecher_Kleinknecht_Dennert.html\">Aufsichtsmitteilungen<\/a> klargestellt, dass der verantwortungsbewusste Einsatz von <a href=\"https:\/\/www.d-velop.de\/software\/cloud\">Cloud- und SaaS-Technologien<\/a> sogar gef\u00f6rdert wird.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p data-beyondwords-marker=\"bd76ddeb-c548-480c-b57a-78cc682b23d2\">Besonders relevant ist die Aufsichtsmitteilung zu Auslagerungen an Cloud-Anbieter, die 2023 umfassend aktualisiert wurde. Diese gibt Finanzdienstleistern klarere Leitlinien an die Hand, wie sie Cloud-Technologien sicher einsetzen k\u00f6nnen. Banken, die diesen Wandel ignorieren, riskieren, den Anschluss zu verlieren und den Einstieg in innovative Technologien zu verpassen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p data-beyondwords-marker=\"0eb4c7be-b9c7-455f-be07-de73a57afc05\">Um erfolgreich Cloud- und SaaS-Technologien einzuf\u00fchren, sollten Finanzdienstleister drei Dimensionen managen:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul data-beyondwords-marker=\"0d008f95-ce4c-4669-b8d2-656011072fe6\" class=\"wp-block-list is-style-checkbox\">\n<li data-beyondwords-marker=\"61a7888a-640f-46eb-a091-b9a689b3f98e\"><strong>Vertragliche Dimension: <\/strong>Auslagerungsvertr\u00e4ge m\u00fcssen mit Bedacht geschlossen und regelm\u00e4\u00dfig revidiert werden. Ein wichtiger Schritt, vor allem im Hinblick auf die DORA-Verordnung, der Anfang des n\u00e4chsten Jahres in Kraft tritt.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li data-beyondwords-marker=\"7cb6842d-fc76-4f60-988f-984ee34fa32f\"><strong>Organisatorische Dimension: <\/strong>Der Aufbau eines Cloud Competence Centers ist unverzichtbar. Untersch\u00e4tzung der Bedrohungslage durch Cyberangriffe<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p data-beyondwords-marker=\"55de9763-7bd7-40d2-b58e-bd7809f04205\">Cyberkriminalit\u00e4t hat in den vergangenen Jahren dramatisch zugenommen. Ransomware as a Service (RaaS) hat es Kriminellen erleichtert, Unternehmen weltweit ins Visier zu nehmen, und die Finanzbranche ist besonders gef\u00e4hrdet. So wurde 2023 zum Beispiel eine bekannte deutsche Bank von Hackern angegriffen, die Konten leer ger\u00e4umt und Millionenbetr\u00e4ge an Entsch\u00e4digungen erzwungen haben. Auch die Hackergruppe \u201eClop\u201c hat zahlreiche europ\u00e4ische Banken ins Visier genommen und Kontodaten gestohlen, die anschlie\u00dfend im Darknet verkauft wurden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p data-beyondwords-marker=\"564597ce-09fa-4d83-93b7-336b86f16a40\">Die BaFin und das Bundesamt f\u00fcr Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik (BSI) haben auf diese Bedrohung reagiert und Cyberattacken zu einem der gr\u00f6\u00dften Risiken f\u00fcr 2024 erkl\u00e4rt. F\u00fcr Finanzdienstleister, die ihre IT-Infrastruktur noch vollst\u00e4ndig im eigenen Hause betreiben, stellt dies ein enormes Risiko dar. Eine starke Abwehrstrategie, die auf modernsten Sicherheitstechnologien basiert, ist unerl\u00e4sslich. Hierbei sollten sich Banken von traditionellen Prozessen l\u00f6sen und auf standardisierte L\u00f6sungen setzen, um nicht nur ihre Geschwindigkeit zu erh\u00f6hen, sondern auch ihre Cyber-Resilienz zu st\u00e4rken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 data-beyondwords-marker=\"844f279f-aa57-4ca7-9a54-3b8e84558eeb\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-3-tragheit-bei-der-umsetzung-von-veranderungen\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"3-traegheit-bei-der-umsetzung-von-veraenderungen\"><\/span>3.) Tr\u00e4gheit bei der Umsetzung von Ver\u00e4nderungen<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p data-beyondwords-marker=\"6531a2a6-8034-4f0a-89e3-acf7ebc09380\">Die Finanzbranche ist besonders anf\u00e4llig f\u00fcr Disruptionen. Die langsame Innovationsgeschwindigkeit und die alternde Belegschaft vieler Banken machen sie zu einem attraktiven Ziel f\u00fcr neue, agile Wettbewerber. Finanzdienstleister wie Trade Republic oder auch die andsafe AG haben dies eindrucksvoll demonstriert. In weniger als f\u00fcnf Jahren hat es Trade Republic geschafft, \u00fcber 35 Milliarden Euro an Einlagen zu sammeln und mehr als vier Millionen Neukunden zu gewinnen \u2013 eine Leistung, die traditionelle Banken Jahrzehnte gekostet hat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p data-beyondwords-marker=\"ae845d91-0af9-4460-a8d5-1a741602ce86\">Warum sind diese neuen Akteure so erfolgreich? Sie setzen auf die konsequente Nutzung moderner Technologien wie der Public Cloud und passen ihre Gesch\u00e4ftsmodelle schnell an die Bed\u00fcrfnisse der Kunden an. Banken, die in traditionellen Strukturen verharren, riskieren, den Anschluss zu verlieren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p data-beyondwords-marker=\"8d169c46-31b6-4e03-a475-73b081d0632a\">Es reicht daher nicht, bestehende Strukturen lediglich zu optimieren. Vielmehr m\u00fcssen Banken sich die Frage stellen, wie sie neue Technologien wie SaaS und Cloud so einsetzen k\u00f6nnen, dass sie langfristig wettbewerbsf\u00e4hig bleiben.
